It is not every time we get to watch such funny mistakes from players on the pitch.
Coming from a goal keeper, this one is extremely laughable. Whatever Jang Paek Ho was looking for outside his eighteen yard box, no one knows.

Coming from a goal keeper, this one is extremely laughable. Whatever Jang Paek Ho was looking for outside his eighteen yard box, no one knows.
The North Korea’s U16 keeper in their match against Uzbekistan during the ongoing Asian Under-16 Championship games being held in India made a terrible misjudged attempt when he went miles away from his box in an attempt to save a long kick from his Uzbekistan goalie counterpart.
Jasurbek Umrzakov, Uzbekistan’s goalkeeper in attempting to clear out the ball took a long strike that went the whole length of the field and past the midfield before proceeding to bounce once outside North Korea’s 18 yard box, and a few times within the box and then right into the goal post.
Jang Paek who had already made a move while the ball was still in the air misjudged and saw himself running back to his post in pursuit of the ball. Few yards from his box, the North Korea’s goal man falls and takes a bit of time to pick himself up again and chase after the ball. This time around, he launches himself in a bid to grab the ball but falls woefully as the ball rolls into the net.
The North Korean goalie conceded two more goals in about six minutes after making this terrible miscalculation. He was later substituted off when it was about 9 minutes left on the clock.
His actions have sparked off a trail of criticisms as majority of people believe it was an intentional act geared towards helping North Korea get an easy game in the next round. The win over North Korea means the Uzbekistan U-16 team are looking at the possibility of facing Iraq, the reigning Arab Champions in the next round.
